Safety directions for disinfection

CAUTION:
All appropriate policies and procedures should be followed to
avoid contamination of the staff, patients and equipment.
CAUTION:
Make sure that the equipment is properly decontaminated and
disinfected before shipment or servicing.
CAUTION:
The selection and description of the appropriate disinfection
procedure and policy is the responsibility of the user.
WARNING:
Do follow the instructions of use as provided with the cleaning
or disinfection product.
CAUTION:
Before disinfecting the cassette, remove the image plate and
assure that the cassette is clean.
CAUTION:
Be sure that all surfaces are thoroughly dry before returning the
equipment to use. Disinfecting solution may cause skin irritation
to the patient.
CAUTION:
Disinfecting solution or wipes may cause eye and skin irritation.
Wear gloves and wash hands with soap and water following use.
Consult the manufacturer's Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
and recommendations on the product label for additional
information prior to use.
Do not pour liquid directly on the cassette. Always use a low-
linting cloth dampened (not dripping) with the solution.
