The microprocessor/ heatsink assembly clip is attached on each side
NOTE
of the microprocessor interface socket.
Do not let the screwdriver slip and hit the system board when
removing the microprocessor clip. The system board can be
damaged if its surface is struck.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Removal
Locate the clip tabs on the microprocessor

interface socket. Insert a screw driver into
the top slot on the microprocessor clip.
Applying gentle force, press down with the
screwdriver
microprocessor clip to release it from the tab
on the microprocessor interface socket.
