Clock Settings

Auto Clock
Enables the clock to be set automatically
or manually.

Press SETUP.

Select Clock > Auto Clock.

Choose from the following:
On - Sets the clock automatically
whenever the unit is powered off.
Manual Date & Time settings will be
dimmed.
Off - Disables Auto Clock Set.Time
Zone and Daylight Savings settings
will be dimmed.To set the clock
manually, see Date & Time below.
Date & Time
Sets the date and time manually.This is
necessary if you wish to record TV shows
with the timer record feature.

Press SETUP.

Select Clock > Date.

Set the month, day, and year.
• Use  to move the cursor.
• Use  to change each setting.
• When finished, press ENTER.

Select Clock > Time.

Set the hour, minutes, seconds, and
AM/PM.
• Use  to move the cursor.
• Use  to change each setting.
• When finished, press ENTER.
• A weak or disruptive TV signal may cause the clock to be set
incorrectly. If so, turn Auto Clock Off and set the Date & Time
manually.
• For Arizona, choose Mountain and set Daylight Sav. to Off.

Auto - Identifies your Time Zone
automatically.
Eastern, Central, etc. - Sets the Time
Zone to the selected region.

Daylight Saving Time

Sets the status of Daylight Saving Time.

Select Clock > Daylight Sav.

Choose from the following:
Auto - Determines automatically
whether to enable or disable Daylight
Saving Time.
On - Enables Daylight Saving Time.
Off - Disables Daylight Saving Time.
