General Settings

Auto Clock Set

Sets the clock automatically whenever
the DVD Recorder+VCR is turned off.

Press SETUP.

Select "GENERAL" > "Clock Set" >
"Auto" .

Choose from the following:
Time Zone - Set your local time zone
to Auto (default), Hawaii, Alaska, Pa-
cific, Mountain Central, or Eastern.
Daylight Savings - Set Daylight Sav-
ing to Auto (default), OFF, or ON.

Manual Clock Set

Sets the date and time manually.This is
only necessary if Auto Clock sets the time
incorrectly or is not available.

Press SETUP.

Select "GENERAL" > "Clock Set" >
"Manual" .

Set the date and time.
• Use  to move the cursor.
• Use  to change each setting.
• When finished, press ENTER.

TV Aspect Ratio

Sets your preferred aspect ratio for DVD
movies.

Press SETUP.

Select "GENERAL" > "TV Aspect" .

Choose from the following:
4:3 Letterbox - Select if you have a
standard TV and prefer widescreen
movies displayed with black bars
above and below the picture.
4:3 Fullscreen - Select if you have a
standard TV and prefer widescreen
movies cropped to fit the screen.
16:9 Widescreen - Select if you have
a widescreen TV.
