For better picture

There are two types of enhanced video connections: S-Video and Component video.

1. S-Video out

Connecting to a TV with an S-Video jack
You can use the S-Video output instead of the standard Video out jacks to connect this player to your TV.
Notes:
When using the S-Video output jack, do not connect other VIDEO OUT jacks on the unit. Please set the correct "Video Output" from
the unit by pressing the "SETUP" button on the remote control. (See page 25)
2. Component Vidio out
Connecting to a TV with Component Video jacks
You can enjoy high-quality color viewing by using the Component Video output instead of the standard Video out jacks to connect
this player to your TV.

When using the Component Video output jacks, do not connect other VIDEO OUT jacks on the unit. Please set the correct "Video
Output" from the unit by pressing the "SETUP" button on the remote control. (See page 25)
