DV recording

Before you begin
This DVD Recorder allows basic DV control with the DVD
Recorder's remote control.
Using "Easy Guider" to record the DV
1. Power on your TV and the DVD Recorder.
2. Place a recordable DVD disc on the tray. Make
sure the disc's label is facing up.
3. Connect the DV cable (IEEE-1394 4-pin cable)
to both the DV Camcorder and the DVD
Recorder.
4. Power on the DV Camcorder. Start playback
on the DV Camcorder.
5. Pause the DV Camcorder where you want to
start recording.
6. Press [
GUIDER] on the remote control. This
actives the Easy Guider menu.
7. Press [ ] [ ] to select the "RECORD" icon,
and press [ENTER] to confirm.
8. Press [ ] [ ] to select "DV" Input, and press
[ENTER] to confirm.
9. Press [ ] [ ] to select the recording quality,
and press [ENTER] to confirm.
10. Press [ENTER] to start recording.
Notes:
The "DVD Auto Rec" icon appears when recording begins.
The DVD Recorder will stay in "Pause" mode if no DV input
signal is detected.
11. To pause recording.
Press [
PAUSE ] on the remote control to pause recording.
Press [
PAUSE ] again to resume recording.
12. To stop recording.
Press [
STOP]
CAUTIONS:
Before playing a DVD+R disc on compatible equipment, you
will need to finalize the disc.
