Recording
"One Touch Record" to record DV signal
Before you begin
This DVD Recorder allows basic DV control with the DVD
Recorder's remote control.
1. Power on your TV and the DVD Recorder.
2. Place a recordable DVD disc on the tray.
Make sure the disc's label is facing up.
3. Connect the DV Cable (IEEE-1394 4-pin cable)
to both the DV Camcorder and the DVD
Recorder.
4. Power on the DV Camcorder. Start playback
on the DV Camcorder.
5. Pause the DV Camcorder where you want to
start recording.
6. Press [INPUT] to change the "Signal-Input
source" and select the "DV" input.
7. Resume DV Camcorder playback and press
[RECORD] to start recording.
8. To pause recording.
Press [
PAUSE ] on the remote control to pause
recording.
Press [
PAUSE ] again to resume recording.
9. To stop recording.
Press [
STOP]

DV control

After recording stops, a DV control bar will
appear on the screen. This allows basic DV
control using the DVD Recorder's remote
control.
1. Press [ ] [ ] and select (
the DV Camcorder.
2. Press [ ] [ ] and select (
DV Camcorder.
3. Press [ ] [ ] and select (
Camcorder.
4. Press [ ] [ ] and select (
on the DV Camcorder.
5. Press [ ] [ ] and select (
Camcorder.
Notes:
1. The DV-Link input jack on this unit is for use with DV
compatible camcorders only.
2. Only DV signals can be input to the DV-Link jack on this DVD
Recorder.
3. Do not connect a MICRO MV format video camcorder to this
DV-Link (IEEE-1394) jack.
4. You cannot connect more than two video input
sources at a time to the front panel connector of this DVD
Recorder.
