Safety notes
WARNING
An unsecured vehicle can start moving
and rolling away. There is a danger of acci‐
dents. Before leaving the vehicle, secure it to
prevent rolling away.
Observe the following to ensure that the vehi‐
cle is secured against rolling away:
▷ Apply the parking brake.
▷ Turn the front wheels towards the direction
of the kerb on upward or downward gradi‐
ents.
▷ Additionally secure the vehicle on upward
or downward gradients, for example with a
chock.◀
NOTE
When shifting into a lower gear, high en‐
gine speeds can damage the engine. There is
a danger of damage to property. Push the shift
lever to the right while shifting into the 5th or
6th gear.◀

General
Depending on the engine version, the engine
speed is automatically adjusted as required

Driving
during a gear shift for a harmonious and dy‐
namic gear change.
Reverse gear
Engage this position only when the vehicle is
stationary.
To overcome the resistance, move the shift
lever firmly to the left towards the left and en‐
gage the reverse gear with a gear shift move‐
ment forwards.
Rolling or pushing the vehicle
In some situations, the vehicle is to roll without
its own power, for example in a car wash, or be
pushed.
1. Switch on the ignition.
2. Press the clutch and change out of a for‐
ward gear or reverse.
3. Releasing the parking brake.
M double clutch
transmission with Drivelogic
General
The M double clutch transmission with Drive‐
logic is an automated manual gearbox with two
clutches and partial gears, by which the gears
are changed without interrupting traction.
It is operated using the selector lever or two
shift paddles on the steering wheel.
