Figure 1-3
Line Activation LED
The red flashing LED signals an attempt to establish a connection between both CC-COs. This lasts
approx. 60 s, as the best possible connection settings for the line are measured and configured when a
connection is established. If the LED is switched on permanently, the devices are not synchronized. If the
LED is switched off, a successfully synchronized communication connection has been established.
Line Transparent LED
The yellow LED signals that a connection has been established between the CC-CO main unit and CC-CO
secondary unit.
Data Transfer LED
The yellow LED flashing signals that a payload is available on the protection device.
LED Power On
The green LED signals that the auxiliary voltage is connected.
Reset/training key
The key triggers a reset/training. This function starts a measurement of the physical features of the cable
line and recalibrates the CC-CO. This process lasts approx. 60 s and is signaled by Line Transparent once
a connection has been successfully established.
all LEDs and the Life Contact relay are also activated for the duration of actuation of the key to ensure
that the functionality of these signaling elements is checked simultaneously.
You can identify the main unit or secondary unit configuration on the label at the top of the housing by
marking the relevant setting.
