Product Features

The communication converter (CC-CO) for a pilot-wire pair has the following features:

Configurable transmission raten in the protection device:
– 128 kBit/s
– 256 kBit/s
– 512 kBit/s
– 2048 kBit/s

Signal line to the protection device via optical fiber to one of the following modules:
– Integrated FO5 module
– USART-AD-1FO
– USART-AE-2FO

Max. optical-fiber length for connecting the protection device to the CC-CO:
1.5 km with 62.5 μm/125 μm multimode optical fiber; connection with ST connector

Maximum line length for connecting the CC-CO (main unit) to the CC-CO (secondary unit) up to 20 km
(distance depends on the used cable type and the laying method)

Wide-range power-supply unit
– For direct voltage: DC 24 V to 250 V (limit voltage range: DC 19 V to 300 V)
– For alternating voltage: AC 110 V to 230 V (limit voltage range: AC 99 V to 253 V)
