Replacing the Computer Cover
CAUTION:
Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions located in
"Safety, Environmental, and Ergonomic Instructions" on page 48.
1 Ensure that all cables are connected, and fold cables out of the way.
2 Ensure that no tools or extra parts are left inside the computer.
3 To replace the cover:
Place the cover on the computer with a gap of about 10mm (2/5") at the front.

Push the cover forward until it is flat against the front bezel.

Replace the two cover screws at the back of the computer.

Ensure that the cover is seated correctly before moving the computer.

NOTICE:
To connect a network cable, first plug the cable into the network port or device, and then plug it into the
computer.
4 Connect your computer and devices to electrical outlets, and then turn them on.
