BIOS Setup
Exit Discarding Changes
When you want to quit the Setup menu, you can select this option to abandon
the changes. A message as below will appear on the screen:
Discard changes and exit setup now?
[OK]
[Cancel]
Selecting OK will allow you to quit the Setup Utility without saving any changes
to RTC CMOS. Selecting Cancel will return to the Setup Utility.
Load Optimal Defaults
The option allows users to restore all of the BIOS settings to the Optimal
Defaults. The Optimal Defaults are the default values set by the mainboard
manufacturer specifically for the optimized performance of the mainboard.
When you select the function, a message as below will appear on the screen:
Load Optimal Defaults?
[OK]
[Cancel]
Selecting OK loads the default factory settings for optimal system
performance.
Load Failsafe Defaults
The option allows users to restore all of the BIOS settings to the Failsafe
Defaults. The Failsafe Defaults are the default values set by the BIOS vendor
for the most stable system performance. When you select the function, a
message as below will appear on the screen:
Load Failsafe Defaults?
[OK]
[Cancel]
Selecting OK loads the BIOS default values for the most stable, minimal
system performance.
