Portable Residual Current Device Protection
This pressure washer is provided with a portable residual current
device (PRCD) built into the plug of the power supply cord. This
device provides additional protection from the risk of electric
shock. The PRCD provides 10 mA of protection.
Automatic Shut-Off
A sensor will shut off the motor when the spray gun trigger
releases or locks. If the motor continues to run while the spray
gun trigger is released or locked, DO NOT USE THE MACHINE.
Contact a Briggs & Stratton authorized service dealer.
NOTICE ON/OFF switch should always be in the OFF
position (0) when pressure washer is not in use.
Motor Overload
An overload protection device automatically shuts off the
motor if it overheats or draws excessive current. If the
device trips, disconnect power by pressing master ON/OFF
switch to OFF (0) position. Let unit cool for 30 minutes and
press ON/OFF switch to ON (I) position.
EU Disposal
This symbol indicates the owner of batteries and
electrical or electronic equipment shall not dispose
of this product with unsorted municipal waste. This
product should be disposed of in environmentally
appropriate waste locations. Please contact Briggs & Stratton
or your local retailer for additional disposal information.

Assembly

Attaching Support Tubes and Handle
1. Slide supports (1,A) into slots. Align and attach with
screws (1,B). Maintain alignment while tightening.
2. Place handle (2,A) onto supports and align holes.
3. Insert carriage bolts (2,B) through holes from inside of
unit, attach with plastic knobs (2,C), and tighten.

Operation

Connecting Hose and Water Supply
NOTICE Use ONLY cold water (less than 38°C (100°F)).
1. Screw high pressure hose (3,F) into gun (3,A).
2. Attach blue high pressure hose (3,F) to outlet (3,K)
and tighten.
3. Confirm water inlet screen and black rubber washer is
installed in water inlet coupling (4,A).
4. Attach water inlet coupling to inlet (4,B) and tighten.
NOTICE For best performance, connect ONLY to water
source capable of supplying greater than 18.9 LPM
(5.0 GPM) and 0.17-0.52 MPa (1.7-5.2 BAR or 25-75 PSI)
at electric pressure washer end of garden hose.
5. Run water through garden hose to clean out debris.

NOTICE Using a backflow preventer at pump inlet could
cause pump damage. There MUST be at least 3 m. (10 ft.)
of unrestricted garden hose between pressure washer inlet
and backflow preventer.
WARNING! Water that has flowed through a
backflow preventer is considered to be non-potable.
6. Connect garden hose (4,C) (not to exceed 15 m (50 ft.))
to water inlet (4,B) and tighten.
7. Turn ON water, point gun in a safe direction, press trigger
lock button (5,A), then squeeze trigger to purge system of air.
8. Attach nozzle extension (3,L) to spray gun (3,A). Tighten
by hand.
9. Pull back on collar of nozzle extension (7,A), insert
7-in-1 nozzle (7,B) and release collar. Tug on nozzle to
make sure it is securely in place. See 7-in-1 Nozzle.
Starting Pressure Washer
WARNING! Spray could splash back or propel objects
resulting in serious injury. Always wear indirect vented
(chemical splash) safety goggles marked to comply with
ANSI Z87.1 when using or in vicinity of this equipment.
1. Press master ON/OFF switch (3,E) to OFF (0) position.
WARNING! Risk of electrocution. Use of an extension
cord could cause electric shock or burn resulting in
death or serious injury. DO NOT use an extension cord
with this electric pressure washer. Your home's electrical circuit
receptacle or extension cord may not provide lifesaving portable
residual current device (PRCD) protection.
2. Plug electrical power cord (3,G) into a dedicated
electrical circuit (9) rated for 220-240 volts AC at
10 Amps that is properly insalled in accordance with
all local codes and ordinances. Circuit is not to supply
any other electrical needs.
3. Press RESET button (8,C). Indicator light (8,B) should
be ON.
NOTICE Indicator light must be ON for the electric pressure
washer to operate.
4. Press TEST button (8,A). Indicator light (8,B) should
be OFF.
5. Press RESET button (8,C). Indicator light (8,B) should
be ON.
WARNING! Risk of electrocution. Non-operating
PRCD could result in death or bodily injury. If
indicator light does not stay ON after test and
reset, do not use PRCD.
6. Press master ON/OFF switch to ON (I) position.
7. Point gun in a safe direction, press trigger lock button
and squeeze trigger.
The motor will start and stop as spray gun trigger is
depressed and released.
