Unscrew the high speed jet
(Figure 46). Do not remove the nozzle
carburetor body.

CARBURETOR CLEANING &
INSPECTION
1. With the carburetor completely disassembled,
thoroughly clean all parts in a parts cleaning
solution. Do not soak the carburetor. Leave it in
the solvent only long enough to clean it.
2. Inspect all parts for wear or deterioration.
3. Using aerosol carburetor cleaner with the plastic
hose, flush all passages.
4. Blow dry all carburetor passages with compressed
air.
5. Ensure the carburetor mounting flange and the
fuel bowl mounting flange are smooth and
undamaged.

CARBURETOR ASSEMBLY

1. If the nozzle
has been removed, turn the
carburetor over. Apply one drop of
blue or equivalent to the nozzle threads
from the nozzle
from the

, and
install the nozzle assembly into the carburetor
body (Figure 47). Torque to
