Cleaning the air check valve
1. Remove the softener and valve covers, see Covers removal (softener and valve) [
2. Dismount the brine hose (5).
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen air check cap screw
ð Let the 2 screws
4. Remove the cap (4).
5. Clean the air check ball (3), seat, bowl and o-ring groove
6. Check for o-ring
CAUTION
Do not over-tighten the screws as it may damage the air check bowl.
7. Reverse above procedure steps to rebuild.
