Oven Door Component Removal and Installation
REMOVE THE OVEN DOOR LINER (continued)
3 Lift the door liner away from the door skin.
OVEN DOOR LINER INSTALLATION
After installing the oven door liner, install:
Oven door
1 if removed
Install the Oven Door Liner
1 Place the liner gasket onto the oven door liner.
2 Place the door liner onto the door skin. Align the top of the
door liner with the top of the door skin.
3 Slide the door liner downward to the bottom of the door
skin.
4 Use a T-20 Torx bit to install the screws into the door liner.

DOOR HANDLE REMOVAL

If removing the door liner or door handle, it is simpler to leave
the door mounted on the hinges. If removing the door from the
hinges, first remove:
1 Oven door
Oven door liner

Remove the Door Handle
TIP: The tubular handle and pro handle are removed the
same way. The pro handle is shown below.
1 Use a T-25 Torx bit to remove the door handle mounting
screws.
2 Remove the door handle from the door skin.

DOOR HANDLE INSTALLATION

After installing the door handle, install:
Oven door liner
1
Oven door
2 if removed
Install the Door Handle
CAUTION
Torque the door handle mounting screws to 12 in-lb.
Over-tightening the door handle mounting screws
cracks the door glass.
CAUTION
The pro handle standoffs have a small pin that fits
into the stainless steel door skin. If the pin is not
seated into the hole, the door glass may crack.
1 Place the door handle onto the front of the door skin.
2 Use a T-25 Torx bit to install the door handle mounting
screws.
