Insert the ink tank into the empty slot
on the printhead. Press firmly on the ink
tank's tab until it clicks into place.

If you need to replace the other ink tank,
repeat steps 3 to 5.

Close the inner cover.

The LCD will display the following message:
I N K T A N K C H A N G E D ?
Y E S
Press [2] to continue with the ink counter reset.

If you replaced the black ink tank, press [2]. If you did not, press [3].

If you replaced the color ink tank, press [2]. If you did not, press [3].
• The ink counter is now reset. To check the ink level of the ink tanks at any time,
see p. 9-4.
