► Twist fuel cap (ca. 1/4 turn)
Markings on fuel cap and oil tank must align
► Remove the fuel cap
9.3 Filling up with chain oil
► Fill up with chain oil
Take care not to spill chain oil during refilling and
do not overfill the tank.
STIHL recommends use of the STIHL filling sys‐
tem for chain oil (special accessory).

9.4 To close:
Clip is in an upright position:
► Fit the fuel cap – marks on the fuel cap and oil
tank must line up.
► Push the fuel cap down as far as it will go
► Hold the fuel cap down and twist it clockwise
until it engages
Then the markings on fuel cap and oil tank will
align
