Device addressing via Modbus TCP

7KN Powercenter 1000 devices are addressed via their IP address and the device address.
Even the paired, communication-capable terminal devices are individually addressed via their
device address. The data can also be transmitted to higher-level systems.
Note
The information of the 7KN Powercenter 1000 is addressed with 255 (0xFF) in the Unit ID.
The paired circuit protection devices are assigned unit IDs 1 ... 24 (or 0x01 ... 0x18).
The device addresses are issued in the SENTRON powerconfig app. The device address can be
chosen manually after a Data Matrix Code of the terminal device has been scanned. These
addresses are automatically assigned from 1-24 by default.
Once the devices have been added, the IP and device addresses of the individual devices are
displayed in the list, where the devices can be paired, removed or added again.
