Consequently, do not remove these covers until immediately before the sensor is installed in the pipe.

Pre-installed process connections are secured to the sensor with hex-head threaded fasteners.     PROline Promag 23 4 Wiring Potential equalisation 4.2.1 Standard case Perfect measurement is only ensured when the medium and the sensor have the same electrical potential. Most Promag sensors have a standard installed reference electrode which guarantees the required potential matching. This usually means that additional potential matching measures are unnecessary.
