122 Seats and stowing
Using the 115 V socket in the rear
& DANGER Risk of fatal injury due to dam‐
aged connecting cables or sockets
If a suitable device is connected, the 115 V
socket will be carrying a high voltage. If the
connecting cable or the 115 V socket is
pulled out of the trim or is damaged or wet,
you could receive an electric shock.
Use only connecting cables that are dry
#
and free of damage.
When the ignition is switched off,
#
ensure that the 115 V socket is dry.
If the 115 V socket is damaged or gets
#
pulled out of the trim, immediately have
the socket checked or replaced at a
qualified specialised workshop.
Never plug the connecting cable into a
#
115 V socket that is damaged or has
been pulled out of the trim.
& DANGER Risk of fatal injury due to incor‐
rect handling of the socket
You could receive an electric shock:
if you reach into the socket.

if you insert unsuitable devices or objects
R
into the socket.
Do not reach into the socket.

Only connect suitable devices to the

socket.
Requirements:
Devices are equipped with a suitable plug
R
which conforms to the standards specific to
the country you are in.
A device up to a maximum of 150 W is used.

Do not use multiple socket outlets.
R
Open flap 3.

Insert the plug of the device into 115 V
#
socket 1.
When the on-board electrical system voltage
is sufficient, indicator lamp

lights up.
