Maintenance (Cont.)
To reset, turn unit off, wait until unit cools,
and push button on the side of the motor
cover.
If thermal overload protector shuts motor
OFF frequently look for the following
causes.
1. Low voltage.
2. Wrong gauge wire or length of
extension cord.

3. Low oil level (pump may be
permanently damaged).
4. Defective capacitor or motor.
5. Lack of proper ventilation.
The motor must be

down before reset is possible.
STORAGE
1. When not in use, store hose and
compressor in a cool dry place.

3. Disconnect hose and hang open ends
down to allow any moisture to drain.
