PROGRAMMING
The boiler is set by the manufacturer to oper-
ate with a boiler thermostat.
Checking hot water tank with thermostat
• Enter "programming mode" by following the
procedure indicated in "Accessing the "pro-
gramming mode"" on page 37.
• Press 11 and hold until the LCD display
shows the code A18, indicating entry into
"parameter A18" (Figure 5.32).

• By using buttons 14 or 15 (Figure 5.28) it
is possible to modify the value of parameter

01 = Thermostat ON/OFF (tank/heating

• Press 11 or 12 (Figure 5.28) to confirm the
value entered and return to the list of param-
eters (Figure 5.32).
• Press the 16 button (Figure 5.28) to exit
"programming mode".
5.13 Anti-legionella function
Anti-legionella mode is used to get rid of any
micro-organisms, by increasing the tempera-
ture of the water in the hot water tank to above
65°C for a maximum period of 60 minutes.
To activate the anti-legionella function, the hot
water tank must be fitted with an NTC probe,
positioning it in the special probe holder in the
tank, and the boiler must be set for this type
of operation.
