Gas burners
Gas flow to the burners is controlled by the control knobs (6, 7, 8, 9
and 10 in Fig. 1). There are 3 positions shown on the control panel
(Fig. 2). Turning the control knob to the positions shown below
achieves the following:
Closed (switches gas valve and burner off)
Maximum position (highest heat level) & ignition
position
Minimum position (lowest heat level)
When switching a burner on, the knobs should always be turned in
an anticlockwise (left) direction from the closed/off position.
Switching the appliance on
Upon first connection to the power supply, or after a power cut or
other interruption in the mains supply, the safety key lock function is
activated. Touching either sensor when the lock is active will cause
the display to flash.
Using the lock and switching the appliance on
Touch and hold the key sensor
1) for approximately 6 seconds until the indicator next to the on/
off sensor
Touch and hold the on/off sensor
approximately 2 seconds to switch the hob on and off.
Touch and hold the key sensor
to activate the lock when no burners are in use.
