VMD Config for PStack2
Intel® VMD for Volume Management Device
Select Enable to use the Intel Volume Management Device Technology for this stack.
The options are Disable and Enable.
*If the item "Intel VMD for Volume Management Device" above is set to Enable,
the following items will be dislayed:
Hot Plug Capable (Available when the device is detected by the system)
Select Enable to enable hot plug support for PCIe root ports 3A~3D, which will allow
the user to change the devices populated on PCI-E Slots 3A~3D without turning off
the system. This will allow the user to replace the components without shutting down
the system. The options are Disable and Enable.

Select Enable to use the Intel Volume Management Device Technology for this stack.
The options are Disable and Enable.

VMD port 1A (Available when the device is detected by the system)
Select Enable to use the Intel Volume Management Device Technology for this spe-
cific root port. The options are Disable and Enable.
VMD port 1C (Available when the device is detected by the system)
Select Enable to use the Intel Volume Management Device Technology for this spe-
cific root port. The options are Disable and Enable.
Hot Plug Capable (Available when the device is detected by the system)
Use this feature to enable hot plug support for PCIe root ports 1A~1C, which will
allow the user to change PCI-E devices without turning off the system. The options
are Disable and Enable.
