Installing the printer driver from the CD-ROM

This section describes how to install the printer driver on the
client computers, which is necessary when the server and clients
use different versions of Windows.
Note:
If the computers of the server and clients use the same OS, you do not
have to install the printer drivers from the CD-ROM.
When installing on clients running Windows XP, 2000, or NT
4.0, you must have the correct Administrator rights.
1. Access the shared printer. A prompt may appear. Click OK
and follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer
driver from the CD-ROM.
2. Insert the CD-ROM. When you see the EPSON Installation
Program dialog box, cancel the dialog box by clicking
Cancel. Then type the appropriate drive and folder names
in which the printer driver for clients is located, and click
OK.
