Monitoring Normal Printer Operation

Messages appear on the control panel display and lights come on or flash to
indicate various phases of printer operation. The following table explains the
messages and lights:

Light Explanation or response
On Line on Printer is warming up.
On Line on Printer is operating normally.
On line on, Printer is processing print job.
Form Feed flashing
On Line on, Printer has data in its buffer.
Form Feed on Press the On Line button to eject
the page.
On Line off, Printer is resetting and clearing its
Form Feed flashing buffer.
On Line off Press the On Line button to print
and save new settings.
On Line on Printer is performing internal
Form Feed flashing adjustment.
On Line on Printer is in first or second level of
power-saving mode.
On Line off, Check the message and press
Form Feed flashing the Continue button to print.
Continue flashing
On Line off, Check the error message, correct
Form Feed flashing the error to continue printing.
All lights on Turn off the printer, wait
10 seconds, and turn it back on. If
the message remains, turn off
the printer and contact IKON as
described in the Introduction.
