Spacers allow you to position your shaper cutter
anywhere on the spindle. Use them between cut-
ters or stack them above the cutter to bear against
the spindle nut. Every shaper owner needs a set
of these on-hand.

If you do any kind of irregular shaping, rub col-
lars are a must! Rub collars are used for shaping
curved work such as cathedral doors, as well as
many custom shapes. They are also used for
limiting depth-of-cut, like guide bearings on router
bits.
