8 Creation of the PDM Network Structure for the Maintenance Project
Via repository (PDM >=9.0 SP1) with HWK import
1. Open the PCS 7/STEP 7 project to be monitored with the PDM MS on the ES.
2. Copy the PDM MS project created in Chapter 8.1/8.2/8.3 from the PDM MS to
the ES
3. Open the Process Device Network View in the PDM MS project on the ES.
4. Right-click the Ethernet segment and select "SIMATIC PDM > Import from
HWK Station" from the context menu.

5. Select the PCS 7/STEP 7 project and confirm the selection with "OK".
6. Start the import by clicking "Import".
7. Copy the PDM MS project to the PDM MS.
