4 Commissioning the Microbox IPC [all]
2. Open the PDM Server Configuration Tool
(From the PDM desktop icon or Start menu):

3. Enter the name of the website (Default: SIMATIC_PDM)
4. Select either the unsecured (port 8080) or secured connection (port 443).
A certificate is required for the secure connection.
5. Click "Apply" to create the website.
Note A fixed IP address should not be specified. Otherwise, it will not be possible to
call "PDM" in the asset faceplate.
When an IP address is entered, it is entered in the IIS "Bindings":
Internet Information Service > see Windows Services in Computer Management
