Answering system settings

Call screening on/off

Use this feature to choose whether incoming messages can be heard over the
speaker when they are being recorded. If you turn call screening on, you hear
the incoming message. While monitoring an incoming message, you can answer
the call by pressing LINE 1/
handset, or pressing 1 LINE, 2 LINE, or SPEAKER
can also lift the corded handset to answer the incoming call.
To change the setting:
Using the telephone base:
1. When the telephone base is in idle mode, press
to enter the main menu.
2. Press SELECT
3. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to
highlight Mailbox 1 or Mailbox 2, and then
press SELECT
4. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to
highlight Ans system setup, and then press
SELECT
5. Press
6. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to choose On or Off.
