(LFO 1 Speed)
The L FO 1 Speed setting determines the rate o f L FO 1 .
T urning the kno b to the left results in slo wer rates and
turning it to the rig ht results in faster rates. (Fo r details
abo ut the L FO Reset functio n, see pag e 7 3 .)

LFO 2 Spd
(LFO 2 Speed)

SYN C/ FM
W hen KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [SYN C/ FM] is
selected, the eig ht CO N TRO L kno bs will access specific
Sync functio n- and Frequency Mo dulatio n-related
parameters.
Sync parameters are related to the synchro nizatio n status
o f the two VCO 1 o scillato rs (master and slave), which are
the fundamental wavefo rm g enerating elements in the
AN 1 x.
A Frequency Mo dulatio n (FM) sig nal (" mo dulato r" ) can be
applied to the VCO 1 in o ne o f several ways to chang e its
frequency, in which case the o utput o f the o scillato r will
beco me the mo dulated sig nal (" carrier" ).
