5 . Set up the [M O DULATIO N ] w heel to control
the speed of the rota ry spea k er.
Set the [EDIT RO T ARY] switch to the VO ICE SCEN E
SETUP menu.
• Press Co ntro l Matrix Set N o [UP/ DO W N ] to select
" Co mn1 " (Co mmo n 1 ).
• Press Param [UP/ DO W N ] to select " Vari Param"
(Variatio n Parameter).
• Press So urce [UP/ DO W N ] to select " A.MW "
(Mo dulatio n W heel). W hen yo u mo ve the
[MO DUL ATIO N ] wheel, the speed o f the ro tary
speaker will chang e acco rding ly.
• Press Depth [UP/ DO W N ] to set the value to
" Dp+1 0 " .
6 . Add the orga n click to the sound using the
PEG.
Press KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [PEG / L FO ].
• T urn CO N TRO L kno b 1 to set the PEG Decay
parameter to a value between " +1 " and " +4 " .
• T urn CO N TRO L kno b 2 to set the PEG Depth
parameter to a value o f abo ut " +2 0 " . This creates
the click.

w a nt. W hen you're finished w ith the editing

Synth Bra ss
First let's crea te the funda menta l sound...
1 . Select a voice tha t you don't mind w riting
over.
Perfo rm a T ype 1 (N o rmal) Vo ice Initialize o peratio n.
2 . To a chieve the sound of m ultiple pla yers,
w e'll use both VCO 1 a nd VCO 2 oscilla tors.
Press KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [MIX/ VCF],
then press CO N TRO L kno b 2 o nce to display the
VCO 2 L evel parameter in the L CD. T urn the kno b to set
a value o f " 1 2 7 " so that the VCO 2 can be heard.
3 . Adjust the interva l betw een the oscilla tors.
Press KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [VCO 2 ], then
press CO N TRO L kno b 3 o nce to display the Fine T une
parameter. T urn the kno b to set a value o f abo ut " -4 " to
create a slig ht interval.
4 . Set up the FEG, VCF Cutoff a nd FEG Depth for
a cha ra cteristic bra ss sound.
Press KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [VCF].
• T urn CO N TRO L kno b 1 to set the Attack parameter
to abo ut " 4 0 " .
• T urn CO N TRO L kno b 2 to set Decay to abo ut " 5 5 " .
• T urn CO N TRO L kno b 3 to set Sustain to abo ut " 4 0 " .
• T urn CO N TRO L kno b 5 to set the VCF Cuto ff to
abo ut " 5 5 " .
• T urn CO N TRO L kno b 7 to set the FEG Depth to
abo ut " +5 5 " .

w ith the PEG.
Press KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [PEG / L FO ].
• T urn CO N TRO L kno b 1 and set the PEG Decay value

• T urn CO N TRO L kno b 2 and set the PEG Depth
parameter to abo ut " -2 " .
• T urn CO N TRO L kno b 3 and set the PEG Sw (Switch)
to " VCO 1 " .
