6 INSTALLATION

The fitter must have the Jøtul certificate, authorising
installation of appliances fired with solid fuel.
61 ONE-WALL PIPE AND AIR INLET IN
ROOM
In this case, it is necessary to remove the metal wall from
the rear of the stove and disconnect the combustion air
connector pipe (fig. 6.1). Connect the exhaust pipe, add
the top ring and the blocking system, held in place by 2
screws, as shown in fig. 6.1.
Make sure that the air inlet in the room is made correctly,
as explained on the previous pages.
62 ONE-WALL PIPE AND AIR INLET
CONNECTED TO THE OUTSIDE
In this case, it is necessary to remove the metal wall from
the rear of the stove and disconnect the combustion
air connector pipe as well as to disconnect the elbow
and connector provided with the product (fig. 6.2).
After reinstalling the wall, connect a flexible hose to the
connector for air intake from the outside. Connect the
exhaust outlet pipe as shown in fig. 6.1.
63 CONCENTRIC PIPE
It is possible to apply a concentric pipe simultaneously
leading off flue gas and supplying combustion air.
To carry out such an installation, there is no need to
disassemble the appliance. Connect the concentric pipe
directly to the outlet nozzle, as shown in figure 6.3. The
fitter must have the qualifications required by European
Directive no. 2009/28/EC of 23 April 2009. (OJ EU L

65 CONNECTIONS
651 Electrical connection
It is enough to connect the stove to the electrical grid by
means of a plug.
The electrical connection (socket) must be easily
accessible after installation of the stove and must remain
visible.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualified technician in order to avoid risk
6511 Grounding
The installation must strictly be equipped with grounding
and a breaker switch in accordance with binding standards
(fig. 6.5).
The metal chimney flue must have its own connection to
ground
652 Connection to an external chronothermostat
fig 62
It is possible to connect an external chronothermostat,
which extinguishes and ignites the stove depending on
the programmed temperature.
After reaching the set temperature, the thermostat
opens the circuit and shuts down the stove.
The external thermostat must be connected to two
terminals found on the electronic card, which were
previously connected at the factory. Disconnect both
terminals and connect the two contacts of the thermostat
to them.
It is important to set the stove to configuration 2,
proceeding according to the instructions given in the
"Initial configuration" section.
