INSTALLATION
CHOICE OF INSTALLATION SITE
Before installing the unit, agree with the customer the site
where it will be installed, taking the following points into con-
sideration:
• check that the support surface is adequate to support the
weight of the unit;
• respect safety distances between the unit and other equip-
ment or structures so that the fan air intake and outlet are
not blocked in any way.
• Follow the instructions shown in the chapter on DIMEN-
SIONED DRAWINGS to allow room for maintenance oper-
ations.
• Unit for outdoor installation
• Although the noise level produced by the unit during oper-
ation is limited, avoid installation in places where even low
noise levels can cause annoyance (bedroom windows, ter-
races).
• Select a place where the hot air discharged from the unit
does not cause a disturbance.
• The appliance must not be used in potentially explosive
atmospheres.
• The unit must be installed far away from places where
flammable gas leaks may occur.
• In coastal areas or other places exposed to salt spray, cor-
rosion may affect the life of the unit. Avoid direct exposure
to wind from the sea.
If installing multiple units, follow the instructions shown in
Figures 1, 2, 3.

If installing a series of units, even on different levels, ensure
the minimum clearances as illustrated in drawing 1 and in
the following table.

If installing one or more units near vertical walls, ensure the
minimum clearance between the units and between unit and
wall, as illustrated in the drawing 2 and in the following
table.

If installing units between two vertical walls, the clearances
should be such as to prevent the flow leaving the fans from
interacting with the intake flow, causing continual malfunc-
tioning.
