RECEIVING AND HANDLING THE PRODUCT
REMOVING THE PACKAGING
The packaging must be removed by the operator using suit-
able protective equipment (gloves, glasses, etc.).
Take special care not to damage the unit. Observe the local
standards in force as regards disposal of the packaging,
using specialist collection or recycling centres.
Do not dispose of packaging materials in the environ-
ment or leave them within reach of children as they may
represent a hazard.
The envelope A placed on the cover of the unit contains:
• installation - user - maintenance manual;
• EC declaration of conformity and documents in compli-
ance with the ErP directive;
• wiring diagram.
The following are placed inside the compressor compart-
ment:
• water filter;
• condensate drain fitting [i-BX-(Y) 004-015; i-BX-N-(Y) 004-
013];
• base plug [i-BX-(Y) 004-015; i-BX-N-(Y) 004-013].
Make sure the components listed above are not lost or mis-
placed.
HANDLING UNPACKAGED UNITS
When the packaging has been removed:
• Remove the wooden base.
• Fit the vibration damping feet (accessories).
• Handle the unit using equipment that is suitable for its
weight (forklift or crane), in compliance with the safety
standards in force (and subsequent amendments).
• Do not drag the unit as the feet may be damaged or break.
The installation manual and wiring diagram are inte-
gral parts of the appliance and should therefore be read
and kept carefully.
Insert the lifting bars into the feets on the unit.
