■Recording
Problem
No sound can be
recorded to a USB
device.
No title can be added to
tracks/groups.
A track/group title can-
not be edited on a USB
device. A track/group
cannot be created,
moved or deleted on a
USB device.
■Karaoke (Only for countries/areas other than Australia)
Problem
Some karaoke func-
tions do not work.
■Timer
Problem
The playback/recording
timer does not work.
If this system does not work properly even after taking the action in the above "Possible solution"
Many functions of this system are controlled by microprocessors that can be reset by recycling the power
supply. If pressing any button does not result in the normal action, disconnect the power cable from the outlet,
wait for a while, and connect the power cable again.

The USB device is connected
to the [USB1 VIDEO/AUDIO
PLAY] terminal.
The recordable capacity of the
USB device is full. You can
record up to 999 tracks to a
USB device.
The USB device is not compati-
ble with this system.
The USB device is write pro-
tected.
The USB device is connected
to the [USB1 VIDEO/AUDIO
PLAY] terminal.
The track is damaged.
Possible cause
When the recording function is
working, you cannot operate
any of the karaoke functions.
Depending on the disc/file, you
cannot operate some karaoke
functions.
Possible cause
This system is on. The play-
back/recording timer works only
when the system is off.
Possible solution
Connect the USB device to the
[USB2 AUDIO/REC/PLAY] termi-
nal.
Delete some tracks/groups.
Use another USB device.
Connect the USB device to the
[USB2 AUDIO/REC/PLAY] termi-
nal.
Turn off the main unit and then
turn it on again.
Possible solution
Quit recording and then operate
the desired karaoke function.
This is not a malfunction.
Possible solution
Turn off the system.
