SECTION 10 – INJECTING VINES
With the injection device primed and the Holding
Compartment filled and secured in the barrel, attach the
Pneumatic Hose to the injection device.
Set the CO
tank regulator to the desired injection

pressure (50 psi). Refer to the XylPhi-PD Product Insert
to select the injection location(s). Pull away heavy bark
at the injection location that would prevent the full
penetration of the Conical Needle into the plant.
Move the Safety from the "Safety ON" position to the
"Safety OFF" position.
Press the injection device into the plant until the
Conical Needle is fully submerged into the plant.
Press and hold the trigger for approximately one
second to expel the injection. When the injection is
successful, the red ring on the pneumatic piston will
be visible in the Injection Indication Window.
Release the trigger and remove the injection
device from the plant.

After injecting, move the Safety from
the "Safety OFF" position to the
"Safety ON" position. Place the
injection device in its holster when
moving between locations or device is
not in use.
