SECTION 8 – PRIMING THE INJECTION DEVICE
Dial the Dose Setting Knob to 200 μl by turning the knob two
full turns from the fully inward position.
If using the provided CO2 tank and regulator, turn the knob
on the CO2 tank counterclockwise to open the CO2 tank
valve.
Adjust the tank output pressure to 50 psi.
Attach the blue air hose and move the blue slide-valve
downward to allow CO2 gas to flow into the injector.
Move the Safety to the Safety OFF position.
While pointing the injection device in an enclosed waste bottle or
container, pull the Trigger several times until you see two solid streams
coming out from the two side holes on the tip of the Conical Needle.
Note: Air bubbles are likely to form in the Inlet Tube. If this occurs,
insert the Plunger in the back end of the Barrel and push forward while
pulling the injector Trigger. Liquid from the Holding Compartment
should begin to move into the Inlet Tube. Continue until two solid side-
streams come out from the tip of the Conical Needle.
