Error Status

There are three possible error types: automatically recoverable errors, recoverable errors, and unrecoverable
errors.
Automatically Recoverable Errors
Printing is impossible while an automatically recoverable error is occurring. The printer recovers from the error
as described below.
Error Explanation
Print head high A high temperature
temperature error beyond the standard
range for driving the
head is detected.
Cover open error The roll paper cover
is opened during
printing.
Motor driver IC A high temperature
high temperature beyond the standard
error range for driving the
motor is detected.
TM-i connection The printer cannot
