Using the phonebook
There is also a character map for
SMS text messaging on page 46.
Writing tips
Entering names
Use the keypad letters to enter
names, e.g. to
store TOM:
1. Press
once to enter T.
2. Press
three times to
enter O.
3. Press
If you make a mistake, select
Clear to delete the last character
or digit.
Press
to switch between
upper and lower case letters.
The
icon will be displayed when
you have selected upper case.
To enter a Pause in a stored
number, for example, when
connected to a switchboard,
press and hold the UP navigation
button. A P is shown in the display.
