On the Flatbed

This section shows you how to position a single-sheet document, such as a
single photograph or a page from a book, on the flatbed.
1. Fold down the Document Feed
2. Raise the scanner lid (ADF).
3. Place the document to be scanned face
WARNING: Due to the weight of the
scanner lid (ADF) at the top of the scanner,
every time when you raise or lower the
scanner lid, please hold it with your hands
tightly; otherwise, the scanner lid may fall
down forcingly and then result in personal
injury and product malfunction.

on the edge and corner of the scanner lid (ADF) to lift it up with your two
