in the front passenger's seat. For further
information, consult your veterinarian,
local animal protection society or pet
shop.
& Tire pressures
Check and, if necessary, adjust the
pressure of each tire (including the spare)
at least once a month and before any long
journey.
Check the tire pressure when the tires are
cold. Use a pressure gauge to adjust the
tire pressures to the values shown on the
tire placard.
For detailed information, refer to "Tires
and wheels" F11-42.
WARNING
Driving at high speeds with exces-
sively low tire pressures can cause
the tires to deform severely and to
rapidly become hot. A sharp in-
crease in temperature could cause
tread separation, and destruction of
the tires. The resulting loss of
vehicle control could lead to an
accident.
EU Battery directive 2006/66/
EC
Followings are the symbol of EU Battery
Directive 2006/66/EC.
This directive applies to the collection of
batteries, recycling of disposed batteries
and accumulators, and batteries not dis-
posed of in landfills because they could be
hazardous to the environment.
In your vehicle, there are some batteries
that do not have the 2006/66/EC EU
Battery directive symbol.
Please check and obey all local laws and
regulations for the disposal of batteries or
accumulations.
The following devices utilize batteries that
do not have the symbol:
. Keys (if equipped): CR1620
. Access keys (if equipped): CR1632
. Navigation system (if equipped)
BR2330
*1: This battery cannot be replaced or
removed individually. It must be replaced
or removed with the navigation system as
a unit.
