Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the socket marked
LINE on the left side of the machine. Connect the other end to the
modular wall socket.

Attach the wire extensions to the Multi-purpose sheet feeder, and to
the document guide base.

Attach the document and paper trays to the machine and pull out
their extensions.
