2. Ensure that the firmware on the RAID card is the correct version by
performing a RAID firmware update from the CallPilot 2.02
OS Recovery or OS Upgrade CD-ROM.
For more information, see "Updating the RAID card's firmware" on page
217.
Note: You do not have to configure the RAID card, because the RAID card's
configuration is stored on the hard drive.
Scenario 2: A hard drive is faulty
If a hard drive in the RAID system pack becomes faulty, you must do the
following:
1. Replace the faulty hard drive.
For more information, see "Replacing a hard drive" on page 179.
2. Launch the MegaRAID Client in Windows NT, and then manually
rebuild the hard drive in the RAID system pack.
This copies the data from the good hard drive to the new hard drive. For
more information, see "Rebuilding a hard drive in the RAID system
pack" on page 238.

Risk of system failure
Replacement of a RAID card with one that is not identical
causes a system failure. You must use Nortel Networks-
approved components.
