4 Push the latching tab to the left as you pull outward on the handle to disengage the power supply
internal connectors.

5 Carefully slide the power supply the rest of the way out of the switch.

Removing a Switch from a Rack

Before removing a switch from a rack, verify that:
All removable power supplies have been removed. See
or
Removing a DC Power Supply
The switch has been disconnected from any redundant power supplies.
The switch has been disconnected from all other sources of electrical power.
Note
Read the following steps thoroughly before you attempt to remove a switch from a rack.
To remove a switch from a rack, follow these steps:
1
Support the switch while you remove the rack-mounting screws that hold the front mounting
brackets in place against the rack posts.
2 Remove the switch from the rack.
For two-post installations, carefully slide the switch out of the rack.
For four-post installations, carefully slide the switch forward out of the cabinet and off the rear
mounting brackets.
