SWITCHING ON / OFF [F1]
Switching On
Select the position "I" setting with the On/Off switch
(3) and the tool will turn on.
Switching Off
Select the position "0" setting with the On/Off switch
(3) and the tool will turn off.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Initially, set the On/Off switch (3) to position "I".
Heat the workpiece carefully from a large distance.
If necessary, reduce the distance and increase the
air temperature to position "II ".
Removing paint and varnish
Try the tool out on a small section before you
operate on a larger area.
Do not use chemical stripping agents together with
the tool.
Switch the tool on.
Keep the tool at a distance of about 8-10 cm from
the surface until the paint starts to blister.
Scrape the paint in even strips downwards.
The area in front of the scraper has to be cleaned
often so that it remains clean and sharp.
On profiled surfaces the paint has to be warmed
and softened and then removed using a wire brush.
Cover all surfaces which should not be heated with
non-flammable material.
Never point the hot nozzle (2) directly at a window
or other glass surface.
Lighting the barbecue [F2]
1.
Make a pile of charcoal or briquette.
2.
Touch the pile with the tip of the tool.
3.
Switch the tool on.
4.
Pull the tool backwards to 10-20 centimetres when
sparks or glow appear.
Continue pointing the tool towards the same spot for at
least 60 seconds (to ignite the charcoal) or a couple of
minutes (to get the charcoal white and ready to use).
5.
As soon as the fire starts, switch the tool off and
remove the plug from the electrical outlet.
ATTENTION! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THE PRODUCT BY YOURSELF AND DO NOT
TAMPER WITH IT! Any operation of repairing or extraordinary maintenance must be carried
out only by a qualified and authorized IVT Service Center. Do not try to modify any internal
part of the product! THIS WILL COMPLETELY VOID THE WARRANTY AND IT COULD CAUSE
SERIOUS INJURY AND DAMAGE.
Lighting the fireplace
1.
Make a pile of wood (preferably small and dry
pieces of wood).
2.
Touch the wood directly with the tip of the tool. In
order to make this operation faster, crumble a piece
of newspaper between the logs and touch the paper
directly with the tip of the tool.
3.
Switch the tool on.
4.
Pull the tool backwards to 10-20 centimetres when
sparks or glow appear.
5.
As soon as the fire starts, switch the tool off and
remove the plug from the electrical outlet.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Before any work on the device itself,
pull the mains plug.
Always keep the tool and the ventilation slots (if
present) cleaned. Regular cleaning and maintenance of
the appliance will ensure efficiency and prolong the life
of your tool.
If the tool should fail despite the rigorous
manufacturing and testing procedures, the repair should
be carried out by an authorized IVT customer service.
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight, to be sure the
tool is in safe working condition.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Use only original spare parts. Parts not produced
by manufacturer may cause poor fit and possible injury.
Store the tool in a dry room out of reach of kids and
away from any flammable material.
Never wet the device or spray water on it!

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Recycle raw materials instead of
disposing as waste.
Tool, accessories and packaging should be sorted for
environment-friendly recycling.
The plastic components are labeled for categorized
recycling. These instructions are printed on recycled
paper manufactured without chlorine.
