MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

EN
Before any work on the device itself,
pull the mains plug.
Always keep the tool and the ventilation slots (if
present) cleaned. Regular cleaning and maintenance of
the appliance will ensure efficiency and prolong the life
of your tool.
If the tool should fail despite the rigorous
manufacturing and testing procedures, the repair should
be carried out by an authorized IVT customer service.
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight, to be sure the
tool is in safe working condition.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Use only original spare parts. Parts not produced
by manufacturer may cause poor fit and possible injury.
Store the tool in a dry room out of reach of kids and
away from any flammable material.
Never wet the device or spray water on it!
Check the oil level
Check the oil level before using the machine:
Place the machine on the floor with the chuck (6)
pointing downwards. The oil must be at least 3 mm
above the bottom edge of the inspection window (7).
Oil change [F4]
The oil should be changed after around 40-50 hours of
use.
1.
Switch off the machine and pull the mains plug out
of the socket.
2.
Undo the hexagonal head screw with the inspection
window (7) using the hexagonal spanner (8) and
drain the oil. To prevent the oil from running out in an
uncontrolled manner, hold a small metal chute under the
opening and collect the oil in a vessel until it has fully
drained out of the machine.
Important! The waste oil must be disposed of in the
appropriate collection point for waste oil.
3.
Add new oil through the oil filler opening (7) until the
oil level reaches the required level.
4.
Tighten the head screw with the inspection window
(7) again.
5.
Re-check the oil level after a short period of
operation.
