Thermostat (T-stat) Mode
Thermostat (T-stat) Mode allows you to use the internal (or external) thermostat to control room temperature. The
heater automatically turns on when the temperature drops below the thermostat setting and turns off (or too low) once
the thermostat setting is met.
Setting the Target Temperature
Internal (Built-In) Thermostat (Available only when thermostat source is set to "Internal" in the "Dealer Service Mode"
menu)
Press the Menu Button on the control panel. When the digital display reads "Heat Setting" the target temperature is
ready to be programmed. Use the Heat Setting Slider to adjust the target temperature.
External Thermostat – (Must be selected by dealer in "Dealer Service Mode" menu)
NOTE: Several external thermostats are available to control the pellet heater (wired, wireless, programmable,
etc...). Refer to the instructions included with the external thermostat to set the target temperature.
To Start the Stove in Thermostat Mode
Press the Thermostat Button on the touch screen. If there is a
call for heat from the thermostat, the stove will enter the start-up
sequence for approximately 20 minutes. When in Thermostat
Mode the Thermostat Button will display a green light.
To Adjust the Heat Output
Use the Heat Setting slider to adjust heat output.
NOTE: Heat output may vary depending upon which TSTAT
program you are in. For details see "Thermostat Programs" on
page 33.
TIP: If the stove turns on and off repeatedly, you may wish to turn the heat output to a lower setting. This
provides a more consistent heat output, eliminating the need for the thermostat to turn the heater on and off.
To Shut Down
Press the On/Off Button on the touch screen. The heater will begin the shut-down process, which takes
approximately 45 minutes.
