Camera positioning and field-of-view

To help position the camera and set the field-of-view:

Follow the instructions in Section 4.3 Using the install wizard,
Page 30 to position the camera. While using the wizard, the pan
and tilt position can be adjusted as outlined below.

Connect a monitor to the 2.5 mm jack using the optional
monitor cable (S1460) which provides a CVBS signal (for
installation purposes only).
Apply power to the camera.
After power-up, wait a little (about 20 seconds).
Press the Menu button. This enables the service video
analog output.
Using the 4 mm hex key, loosen the bolts at the base of the
U-bracket to make the necessary pan adjustments.
When loosened, adjust the camera to the desired pan
angle.
Tighten the bolt to secure in place.
Using the 2.5 mm hex key, unscrew the round caps where
the bracket attaches to the camera housing to expose the
bolts for tilt adjustment.
Using the 4 mm hex key, loosen the bolts.
Make the necessary tilt adjustments.
Tighten the bolts to secure the camera in place.
Replace the round caps when you finish the adjustments.
